Tarqui. An honorable Peace?
SNAFU Pocket Battles #3
Tarqui. An honorable Peace? is a straightforward recreation of the Battle of Tarqui, which took place on the plains of Tarqui near Cuenca, in present-day Ecuador, on 27 February 1829. This battle was fought between the armies of Peru and Gran Colombia, which at the time included the modern-day countries of Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Although little known outside these countries, it was a key battle in defining the spheres of influence of the countries.
During each turn, players will alternate activating their units one at a time until all units are either exhausted or the players choose to stop activating them. Each activation allows a unit or stack to perform one action: movement, combat, or fire. After each activation, units must always check their readiness status. Victory conditions involve the elimination of enemy units and control of key geographical objectives..
